JB SPORTS is looking for someone to join our personnel as

HR ASSISTANT –  HEAD OFFICE (GABORONE)

DESCRIPTION

To handle a variety of HR related administrative duties. Your role is to act as the liaison person between the HR manager and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of all queries.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

• Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties.
• Provide clerical and administrative support to the Human Resource Manager.
• Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies).
• Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc).
• Coordinate meetings, training, surveys, and minute taking.
• Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations.
• Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc).
• Properly handle complaints, grievance procedures, and disciplinary matters.
• Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews.
• Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees.

KEY SKILLS

• PC literacy (MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong communications skills.
• Excellent filing and documentation skills.
• Must be conversant with Botswana Labour laws.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors’ Degree in Human Resources or related field
• At least 2 years experience working under the same role
