JOB SUMMARY

To demonstrate the value of information security and governance to the enterprise. To source, implement and support IT Security systems that meet business requirements through engagement with BotswanaPost business units. To render effective IT Security management within BotswanaPost, advise on IT Security issues relating to service provision and engage other IT and Business resources to ensure effective provision of IT Security for the business.

The position reports to the General Manager Information & Technology.

Position Requirements

QUALIFICATION:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology OR equivalent qualification.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 6 years working experience in an IT environment; 4 of which should be in a supervisory/management capacity.
• Sound knowledge of IT Security management, business procedures, as well as management and support of computerized systems in a large, integral IT environment.
