Job Summary
Reporting to the Safety and Occupational Hygiene Coordinator, The Fire and First Aid Officer is responsible for coordination and implementation of the first aid, fire prevention and protection programs in all areas of Lucara Botswana, with a view of ensuring compliance to the Mine’s standards and statutory regulations

Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in Fire Engineering or equivalent qualification
- First Aid qualification
- First Aid instructors course
- Accreditation by Botswana Qualification Authority
- Affiliation with recognized fire and first aid bodies
- Five years post qualification experience as a Fire and First Aid Officer or in a similar role
