Chief Information Officer – Choppies

Choppies Distribution Centre (Pty) Ltd requires a motivated and dedicated individual to fill the position of Chief Information Officer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Management of IT infrastructure for the Group in all Countries
• Developing the company’s strategy for using technological resources
• Ensuring technologies are used efficiently, profitably and securely
• Evaluating and implementing new systems snd infrastructure
• Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals
• Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
• Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance
• To ensure quality assurance and data protection processes are practiced

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE.

• At least 15 years of experience in a similar role in a Multi-National Company
• Should have in-depth knowledge and extensive experience in all domains of Information and Communication Technology (Hardware. Networking, Software. ERP solutions. Security Solutions. Cloud computing. E-commerce. Enterprise solutions. Data Centre management etc)
• Should have experience in spearheading IT projects in Retail Sector
• Should have experience in management of IT budgets
• Should have experience in implementing IT solutions for Retail sector
• Should possess a Bachelor’s degree
• A certification in Business management will be an added advantage
