We pride ourselves in being able to sell goat meat and goat products on behalf of Batswana farmers at affordable and competitive prices. Our vision is to take the Goat meat produced locally, to the global market in the next 3 years.

PROCUREMENT OFFICER X2

We require the services of a Supplies and Procurement Officer to process purchasing transactions for equipment, materials, supplies, capital goods and services

Key Objectives
Invite, asses and award/ recommend supplier, tender, bids, quotations and proposals
To accurately input data into the Purchase Order System and process in a timely manner
To liaise on a daily basis with the Company’s operational staff, finance team and suppliers
Prepare and maintain purchasing records, reports and price lists
Assist in the development of specifications for equipment materials and services to be purchased
Provide accurate management information data for monthly reporting in conjunction with the Finance Department
Assist with general office functions
Excellent communication skills and confident telephone manner
Commercial and basic negotiation skills
Ability to influence and manage relationships
Effective time management and organizational skills
Proficient computer skill, including Microsoft Office Suite, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.

Requirements
Diploma/ Degree in Supplies and Materials Management/Procurement or a related field
Part qualified in a recognized procurement and purchasing qualification would be an added advantage
At least 1-2 years’ relevant experience with demonstrable tender adjudication and supplier contracts management
