Job Purpose

Contract Administration
  • Performs prescribed contract administration management activities by following existing procedures in order to support others
Testing
  • Performs a variety of standard tests that require moderate judgment.
Performance Management
  • Improves personal performance using performance management systems and protocols.
Installation, Maintenance and Repair
  • Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment for emergency repairs, performance preventive maintenance routines, conducts inspections with guidance, and helps to install complex systems.
Data Collection & Analysis
  • Produces accurate reports for others by collecting data from a variety of standard sources and inputting that data into standard formats.
Compliance
  • Reviews identified shortcomings in current compliance processes, systems and procedures and works with guidance to ensure solution of ad hoc problems within the assigned unit/ (sub)discipline.
Client & Customer Management (Internal)
  • Carries out prescribed internal client management activities and provides support to others by following existing procedures.
Improvement / Innovation
  • Identifies shortcomings in existing processes, systems and procedures, then uses established change management programs to deliver prescribed outcomes and/or provide support services.
Policy Development & Implementation
  • Provides input into the development of procedures for an area within the organization, then monitors the implementation of those procedures.
Project Management
  • Supports others by performing prescribed project management activities following existing procedures.
Safety, Health and Environment
  • Delivers own prescribed outcomes and/or provides support services by using the organisations safety, health and environment systems and protocols.

  1. ​A recognized Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Control & Instrumentation or equivalent.
  2. CCTV Certification would be an added advantage.

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes.
