JUNIOR INVESTMENT ANALYST INTERNSHIP – NORSAD FINANCE LIMITED

Norsad Finance Limited, an impact investor offering bespoke debt and mezzanine financing solutions to mid-market growth companies in Southern Africa, is inviting applications for a 6-month internship programme based in Gaborone. Botswana. The role will form part of the investment team which covers the origination and transacting of debt and quasi-debt solutions to clients based in the SADC region. Over the period of internship, the junior analyst is expected to positively contribute to investment evaluation, specifically to market and company research, financial analysis, financial modelling and report writing.

The successful candidate will espouse the Norsad values ability to work in a multicultural environment and possess and display the following skills and competences;

• Must be able to understand client financial eligibility and risk assessment
• Practical knowledge of financial modelling, detailed appraisal of financial information on transactions and potential investments based on business proposal, site visits, research and desk analysis.
• Experience and knowledge to prepare appropriate financial projections including ratio and sensitivity analysis.
• Knowledge of global and regional macro-economic environment and driving factors
• Fluency in spoken and written English.

Qualifications

Honours degree in finance/economics/business/commerce from a reputable university.
