GENERAL MANAGER – ABSOLUTE AVIATION

Division: Absolute Parts Center. Based in Maun, Botswana

Required Qualification/s, Experience and Requirements:

Proven sales and purchasing track record in the aviation industry. Experience in pastel, freight accounts, cores and warranties. Excellent administration abilities and staff management. Must be customer centric with good selling and negotiating skills

The General Manager will be responsible for the day to day operations of Absolute Parts Center;

• Handle VIP accounts and develop new business
• Pricing and purchasing
• Freight accounts
• Managing & controlling of Cores
• Managing & controlling of Warranties
• Solid technical background & experience
• English proficiency – good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work and interact with departments throughout the Group
• Ability to interact with external stakeholders at high levels and ensure interests of AAG are maintained
• Time management skills and willingness to work long hours are essential. Must be able to communicate professionally and fluently with various departments – HOD’s, employees and external stakeholders at all levels
• Must display high levels of dedication, commitment and motivation
• Maintain confidentiality of Group information
• Responsible for cost management and containment of the business
• Responsible for feedback to the Group’s Executive Committee regarding production budget and status
