Applicants are invited from suitably qualified Botswana Citizens for the below-mentioned post tenable in Jwaneng.

POST: Pre School Teacher

SALARY: B1 (P67 116-P80 172) per annum

QUALIFICATION: Certificate in Early Childhood.

LEAVE: 20 working days per annum.

BENEFITS: Contributory Medical Aid Scheme (Government pays 50% and Employee pays 50%), Pension Fund (Govt pays 15% employee pays 5%)

MAIN JOB DESCRIPTION

• To teach pre-school pupils in accordance with the pre-school syllabus.

DUTIES

• Supervises anti guides subordinates in accordance with set standards.

• Teaches children aged 4-6 years educational materials, simple games, songs and other educative rhythms in accordance with the pre-primary school syllabus.
• Maintains pupil’s profiles and attendance register.
• Establishes and maintains pupil’s performance records to monitor and redress performance problems.
• Provides pastoral care to pupils.
• Discusses with parents pupils’ performance and behaviour.
• Undertakes any related duties as directed by management.
