Job Summary

To contribute to the education of the whole child, attending to the Intellectual, emotional, physical and social development of the child.

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma/Degree In Primary Education
• Three (3) years post qualification experience in teaching
• Two (2) years In an English minimum environment will be an added advantage Key Effectiveness Areas
• Recommends and incorporates cost saving Initiatives into budgets and controls expenditure within approved parameters
• Draws up yearly, termly and weekly plans of subject matter
• Prepares lesson plans to achieve the desired objectives taking cognizance of available resources

• Provides an effective and stimulating environment for education
• Researches the market to keep abreast with industry in the field of teaching
• Teaches subjects across the curriculum based on topics dealt with in the mainstream as integration to enhance specific learning areas
• Complies with all legal requirements pertaining to the teaching profession
• Maintains a sound relationship with parents by means of formal occasions
• Continuously assesses, records and appraises children’s progress
• Performs an array of administrative duties Including keeping equipment inventory
