Finance and Administration Manager – PULA Medical Aid

Job Purpose

Accountable to the Principal Officer, the successful incumbent will be responsible for the delivery of efficient management of financial and administrative services through integrating and optimising functional activities, processes and/or systems across the organisation.

The Role

The right candidate will be responsible among other things the following:

• Leading the development and implementation of the Finance and Administration strategy.

• Integrating business performance and risk reporting.

• Developing financial plans to ensure Fund sustainability.

• Conducting financial modelling and forecasting.

• Managing and monitoring the investment portfolio to optimise income from investments.

• Enforcing Governance and Compliance.

• Adherence to financial and administrative best practices, processes and policies for operational management.

• Managing and developing the delivery of the administrative function to provide effective and efficien services.

The Person

The right candidate will possess the following:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, plus a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA and CA or equivalent.

• BICA membership at fellow level is a requirement.

• Minimum of eight (8) years post professional qualification experience in a business environment, of which three (3) should have been at senior management level.

• Experience in financial modelling.
