SENIOR DRILL SUPERVISOR – DEEP HOLE SPECIALIST wanted by Remote Drilling Services (Pty) Ltd

Remote Drilling Services (Pty) Ltd is a professional, well equipped and highly mobile core drilling company. The company is currently looking to fill the position of Senior Drill Supervisor Deep Hole Specialist.

In order to fulfil the obligations to our current drill programmes, the candidate should at least hold the following:

Minimum of 20 years direct experience in core drilling in complex geological formations including, but not limited to. Kimberlite and Dolomite drilling down to below 1000m below surface.

Minimum of 15 years direct experience in managing the full logistical operation of a company’s assets and personnel to successfully deliver on project objectives.

Hold competency certificates by internationally accredited Drill Supervisor training institutions.

Experience in the design and manufacture of new and innovative ancillary drilling equipment.

A sound knowledge of Diamond Drilling Surface Core Methods, Reverse Circulation Drilling Methods, Deep Hole Drilling Methods and Mud Rotation Operations and GFC Deep Hole Drilling Methods.

Should be proficient in the operation of the following machinery:

• LF90D drill rigs, CT14 Drill rigs. Super Rock Reverse Circulation Drill Rigs, LF230 Drill rigs, LF160 Drill rigs and Freedom Loader System (Fully automated rod handling system)
• Tractor Loader Backhoe (TLB)
• Powertraxx
• Hydraulic Crane Systems
