VACANCY: Industrial Relations Officer

Roles and Responsibility

• Assists in negotiating collective labour agreements on employment issues and policies
• Advise or provide solutions on employment-related matters
• Handle workplace unhappiness and resolve disagreements.
• Visit health facilities to view workplace conditions and meet with members and employers
• Update the BONU labour affairs arm from time to time on members’ grievances
• Monitors and evaluate members’ cases at the courts, other institutions and update management on their resolutions

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this challenging position should have a minimum of Certificate; Diploma in Law or Human Resources or equivalent, a valid driving license and at least 2 years’ experience doing a similar job.

Nursing or related qualifications will be an added advantage
