Casual Staff – Diamond Trading Company Botswana (DTCB)

Diamond Trading Company Botswana (DTCB) is a 50/50 Joint Venture Partnership between the Government of the Republic of Botswana and De Beers Group. It is the world’s largest and most sophisticated rough diamond sorting and valuation operation.

We are looking for versatile and dynamic individuals to join our company as Casual Staff in our Hospitality Services to come in as and when required to provide coverage and relief pressure in the kitchen.

The individual will be responsible for preparing, cooking and serving quality food in accordance with laid down procedures and set standards observing food safety (HACCP); hygiene and housekeeping standards; portion control, observes FIFO method when storing after receiving goods. Complies with SHE policies and procedures.

Knowledge and skills required are, good industry and best practice knowledge, food and beverage preparation, health legislation, occupational hygiene, teamwork, planning and organising.

You are required to have a Trade Test C qualification. 2 or more years in the kitchen environment.
