Tax Accountant/SpecialistTo provide support to the Group head of tax and the wider finance team with key tax accountancy insights to drive the finance agenda

Tax accounting
•Preparation of current and deferred tax provisions for subsidiary and consolidated accounts for half year and full year;
•Including detailed property and share based payment deferred tax calculations;
•Review of statutory accounts disclosure;
•Consideration of the tax effect of changes in accounting standards;
•Liaising with in-house finance teams and tax advisors.
Other but not limited to:
•Preparation of the group corporation tax computations Including detailed capital allowance claims, corporate interest restriction and loss restriction calculations;
•Maintenance of tax process maps to support sign off;
•Maintenance of Local and Master files;
•Preparation of Country-by-Country report;
•Maintain documents to support arms-length pricing policies.
•Preparation/ review of the Group payroll return
•Provide general ad hoc advice to in-house HR department re employment benefit and payroll issues.
•Responsible for indirect tax matters of the group.

Requirements
•CIMA or ACCA equivalent
• Diploma in Taxation
