Property Manager – Khumo Property Asset Management (Khumo)

Established nearly 15 years ago, Khumo Property Asset Management (Khumo) is looking Into the next generation intent on amplifying a culture of service excellence and high performance for greater client and customer satisfaction. Khumo is following a strategy that will ensure high returns for clients and shareholders. To achieve this, a highly competent Property Manager is required.

Property Manager:

The Property Manager will be responsible for effectively managing properties to ensure performance and annual returns are met by achieving and maintaining market-related performance indicators including occupancy levels, arrear rental levels and expense to income ratios.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in the development and implementation of the Khumo strategy as part of the executive management team;

Ensure effective management of relationships with all relevant stakeholders;

Development, implementation and maintenance of effective processes for management of property assets to ensure high standards of service to tenants, clients and the properties themselves;

Management of annual financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes of all properties under management and participation in the same processes for Khumo business;

Contribution and participation in the design and development of organizational structures to express a clear understanding of accountability and responsibility within Khumo for disaster recovery and business continuity planning and implementation:

Management, coaching and provision of support to the section/department staff to ensure that they deliver on agreed performance plans and targets, and to develop skills capacity

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant Bachelors/Honours degree and a proven seven years of practical property management experience in the commercial environment
• Accustomed to reporting at Board level
• Outstanding relationship builder with excellent personal and managerial effectiveness
• Strong sense of accountability and responsibility with a focus on performance and delivery
