JOB OPPORTUNITY FOR NURSES

Our client is looking to recruit competent, compassionate, self-motivated and driven nurses for a local based Healthcare Facility in Gaborone.

JOB SUMMARY

The ideal incumbents (nurses) will provide safe quality patient care by exercising their knowledge and skills whilst also aligning their practices with the organisation’s standard and policies. Their key priority will be to provide nursing care to a patient and/or group of patients in a therapeutic environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contribute to the holistic care of patients by

Executing and implementing patient-specific treatment plans in various stages of their illnesses.

• Providing careful assessment and continuous monitoring of patients’ progress whilst under your care.

’ Administration of any medications and treatment options as prescribed by Doctors.

• Provide counselling to patients and family regarding the patient’s condition.
• Implement good work ethics, timeliness, accurate documentation, accountable handover reporting, conduct compliance audits, exceptional infection control practices etc
• Manage stock according to specific policies and protocols
• Work collaboratively with colleagues towards providing cost-effective operations and timely delivery of services.

INHERENT REQUIREMENT

• Minimum of a Diploma in Nursing
• At least 2 years experience in the nursing discipline
• Flexible in working shifts
• Registered with Nursing Council of Botswana.
