POST: KITCHEN HAND

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Botswana Citizen for the above post tenable in Tsetsebjwe.

SALARY: A2 (P22, 596 – 26, 988) per annum

LEAVE RATE: 20 working days per annum

BENEFITS:
* Optional Medical Aid Scheme: Government pays 50% and employee pay 50%
*Contributory Pension Fund: (Government pays 15% and the employee 5%)

QUALIFICATION
Standard Seven or Junior Certificate

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To assist the Cook in provision of cooking services at Primary Schools

DUTIES
-Cleans kitchen equipment / utensils after meals and packs them in lockers
-Offloads food stuffs and other kitchen supplies and stacks them in the pantry
-Assists in preparing meals, setting tables and serving food
-Empties left over bins/buckets after meals
-Chops firewood and keeps it (gas, coal) in a safe place
-Undertakes any other duties as directed by management
