IT SERVICE DELIVERY MANAGER – BOTSWANA TELECOMMUNICATIONS CORPORATION

Reporting to the Head of IT Infrastructure, the incumbent will be required to manage the IT Service Desk, providing reliable technical IT services for internal customers and end-to-end IT service desk processes. The candidate will also manage incidents and identify problems in the applications or infrastructure and create a service desk ticket for their resolution after completing first level troubleshooting.

To ensure the availability of real-time on-line data for Desktop Support Analysts/ First Line Support Analysts and also to ensure that BTC conforms to investors’ expectations and provide relevant/timely briefings on IT support services.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Applied Computing, IT or equivalent with six (6) years’ professional experience in the IT field and two (2) years’ experience in managing IT Service Desks in an emerging market. A Membership of a relevant professional body will be an added advantage
