The role supports the Group in ensuring that customer disbursements, receipts, settlements and refunds are processed and on time and in a consistent manner. The role plays a critical role in ensuring that the business value proposition and key relationships with the customers are maintained.

1.Ensure receipting, refunds, settlements, write offs, disbursements and small balances write offs are in compliance with internal policies and procedures;
2.Review customer receipts instructions and ensure funds received on Bank;
3.Post receipts to customer accounts and ensure post processing report agrees to instruction;
4.Process customer settlements and close accounts accordingly;
5.Prepare and process refunds requisitions;
6.Liaise with Banks for discrepancies on unidentified customer receipts;
7.Review EDS and Trickle feed and ensure outstanding refunds are processed on time
8.Research and resolve customers receipts, refunds and disbursements discrepancies and issues;
9.Correspond with banks and internal departments and respond to inquiries;
10.Produce adhoc and monthly reports;
11.Assist with month end closing and provide information as requested;
12.Provide supporting documentation for audits and ensure queries are resolved on time;
13.Maintain accurate historical records;
14.Escalate unresolved exceptions and queries to Operations Supervisor;

Requirements
1.Accounting Degree, Full AAT or equivalent
2.Working knowledge of international financial reporting standards
3.Ability to communicate with stakeholders
4.General understanding of the operation of a bank or financial services company
5.Analytical and problem solving skills
