Deputy Commission Secretary – Lesotho Highlands Water Commission

The Lesotho Highlands Water Commission is a bi-national body (Lesotho and South Africa) established by Treaty of 1986 to oversee the implementation of the Lesotho Highlands Water Project

An opening exists for a professional with the initiative to serve as Deputy Commission Secretary for the Lesotho Highlands Water Commission. This is an important position for which the successful candidate will have a key role in providing administrative, financial legal and support services as welt as an advisory function to the organization.

Qualifications

A member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) (or an equivalent recognized body) with a degree in accounting or law from a recognized tertiary institution

Experience required

The candidate must have at least ten do) years experience in a similar role in a comparable environment. The ideal candidate will have a good command of the English language and be computer literate. Diplomacy and service orientation are essential attributes

The Position requires a candidate who is NOT a citizen of either Lesotho or South Africa
