Requirement: Junior Certificate, HGV and PSV (General) driving licenses. Two to three years driving experience
Duties: (i) Drives a wide range of university vehicle in accordance with instructions, throughout Botswana, and regionally to transport staff, students etc. (ii) carries out the duties of messenger; (iii) drives vehicles in the most safest, efficient and cost effective manner; (iv) collects and deliver mail, goods etc. as directed; (v) Cleans vehicle and ensures that it is maintained in a neat and tidy condition at all times; (vi) Checks vehicle to ensure serviceability and reports any defects; (vii) carries out driver service checks; (vi) Completes driver’s log book, and other service documentation in accordance with procedures, and to also uplift fuel and accounts for fuel receipts; (viii) may be required to clear items through customs.
