SOCIAL MEDIA CURATOR – BLXCKHIPPY ENTERTAINMENT

Interns will gain valuable team project experience as well as have the opportunity to influence and implement some individual projects.

Responsibilities include:

– Meet with clients or the art director to determine the scope of a project
– Advise clients on strategies to reach a particular audience
– Determine the message the design should portray
– Create images that identify a product or convey a message
– Develop graphics for product illustrations, logos, and websites
– Select colours, images, text style, and layout
– Present the design to clients or the art director
– Incorporate changes recommended by the clients into the final design
– Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them

These duties provide a framework for the role and should not be regarded as a definitive list. Other reasonable duties may be required consistent with the grade of the post.

You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.

Requirement

– Creative thinking – the ability to create new design style, and modify and customize excising designs, to fulfil the needs of a specific project and reach the targeted population;
– Advanced in typography, print design and layout, web design, photography, and social media marketing (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram,etc.);
– Proficiency in digital tools such as Adobe InDesign, PhotoShop, Flash, Figma, Canva Illustrator;
– An awareness of structures of power, privilege, and oppression;
– A good sense of humour and the ability to get along with many types of leaders;
– Ability to interact with diverse populations with respect and critical self-reflection;
– High level of initiative, as well as excellent time management and project management skills, to be able to work on several different projects concurrently and meet deadlines on time or early;
– High level of accountability and ability to work well both independently and as a part of a team;
– Ability to be flexible with BLXCKHIPPYRADIO’s changing needs, a high comfort level with web-based communication and web-based programs.
