Rankuke Investments (Pty) Ltd is seeking to recruit a Digital Forensics and Cybersecurity Lecturer/Consultant.

JOB PURPOSE

To design, develop and produce learning and teaching material and deliver either across a range of modulesor within a subject area. The Lecturer/ Consultant will ensure the efficient and effective delivery of teaching programmes in accordance with the Institute’s strategy, policy and procedures, contribute to activities which influence leading edge practice and may also undertake research activity.

Participate in and develop external networks, for example, to contribute to student recruitment, secure student placements, facilitate outreach work, generate income, obtain consultancy projects or build relationships for future activities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

The candidate must display/have:

• Knowledge and understanding of the recovery of data and digital evidence from a variety of digital media
• Knowledge and understanding of computer system and network security

• Evidence of an ability to engage in consultancy, enterprise and research activities in the area of computer security and digital forensics, which enhance the research profile and external revenue of the School and organization.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Be a graduate from a recognized university
• Relevant professional qualifications in digital forensics, cybersecurity, fraud examination & investigation.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with a proven ability to present and lecture to all levels, along with excellent interpersonal skills.
• A student-focused, self-motivated individual with proven experience of working as part of a team and providing excellent customer (student)
• Recent experience of teaching and assessing of students including module leadership and development and in particular any experience in the delivery of teaching and learning via distance learning and work-based modes of study.
• MUST BE BQA ACCREDITED
