AFGRI DIVISION: AFGRI EQUIPMENT | BOTSWANA VACANT POSITION: COMPLETE GOODS MARKETER

AFGRI requires the services of a suitably qualified, well-motivated and results driven candidate to be appointed in the above mentioned vacant position.

Requirements:

• 3+years equipment sales experience —.
• Diploma in Marketing, Sales or Business preferred or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge of agricultural or turf equipment and farming or operational practices preferred
• Excellent communication, people & customer relationship skills
• Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office & internet functions
• Ability to analyse and interpret basic sales reports
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Police Clearance
• Valid Driver’s license

Duties Include but not limited to the following:

• Marketing & selling of all complete goods items to ensure department profitability
• Manage and maintain a customer segment database for each targeted area
• Focus on growing market share together with profit objectives
• Regular customer visits with a strong focus on deep customer understanding
• Manage marketing activities as per marketing plan
• Manage Customer Surveys, respond to and action as required
• Do demonstrations in the field and schedule customer events
• Develops dear and effective written proposals/quotations & follow up
• Manage sales pipeline, follow up and provide feedback regularly
• Process sales accurately and deliver complete goods to customers
• Stock management and controls
