Operation Manager with experience in Sales

Job description:

• You will be responsible for our operation team in Gaborone and will report to the management
• Operation Includes A to Z handling of any kind of transportations
• Handling and checking of documentation, supervise that customer service is as per our ALPHA standard operation procedures
• Finding and optimizing solutions to daily challenges
• You will work as part of our international operation team and daily be in contact with team members from all our offices
• You will work with worldwide customers, partners, and suppliers
• You will be a part of developing sales in Botswana and the Southern African region

Requirements:

• You have minimum 5-10 years working experience in the freight forwarding and shipping industry
• You have minimum 3-5 years of working experience in foreign countries in the freight forwarding and shipping industry
• You have experience In operation and sales development, negotiations and leadership
• You have experience in operation of transportations by Sea (FCL/ BB/ RORO/ ICL) Air/ Road/ Rail/ Customs formalities and related services with proven records
• You have experience in working with worldwide customers/ partners/ carriers/ airfreight agents/ trucking etc.
