Records Officer – Industrial Property – CIPA

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors Degree in Records Management
• 2 years post-qualification experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain recordkeeping system
• Organise and describe records
• Provide organisation and description capabilities
• Create classification schemes, thesauri, authority files, indexes and documentation classification schemes.
• Convert manual/semi- electronic systems to fully electronic systems
• Receive and file applications of Industrial Property
• Facilitate collection of correspondence to IP Agents and the public
• Provide first-line client assistance
• Apply and monitor compliance, retention and disposition schedules.
