Head of Sales – Short Term Insurance – Old Mutual Botswana

Job Description

• Directly and significantly contribute to the growth and retention of market share through premium income and customers.
• Ensure business meets its targeted financial metrics that include premium income, claims ratios, premium collection and underwriting surplus.
• Manage a sales team in both Gaborone and Francistown and ensure appropriate sales practices, disciplines and processes are embedded and adhered to.
• Formulate and implement the sales strategy and business plan.
• Grow and maintain solid relationships with Customers, Brokers and key market stakeholders.
• Continuous review market trends and customer preferences with a view of identifying and proposing appropriate innovative solutions
• Support the delivery of strategic  product development and marketing initiatives.
• Provide customer services in line with quality and performance standards.
