Job Description

• Processing of Purchase Orders, GRV’s, Debtors Accounts, Quotations and Pricing mandates.
• Managing stock levels, cycle counts and oversee stock takes.
• Processing of wages, overtime, leave and audits (payroll, VAT, TAX, withholding tax etc.).
• Providing financial statements, tax calculations, tax returns, GL recons and journals.
• Preparing Balance Sheets and Financial Reports.
• Preparing asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing information.
• Preparing budgets, monitor expenditure and determine forecasts.
• Managing petty cash transactions and ensuring are compliant with company policy.
• Managing cost control.
• Liaising and negotiating with suppliers.
• Verifying documentation and load payments on the bank.
• Performing adhoc duties as and when required.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 or Equivalent.
• BCom Accounting Degree or equivalent
• 10 years accounting experience
• Excellent knowledge of accounting procedures, principles and reporting standards.
• Strong financial reporting skills on Excel.
• Solid understanding of local tax law.
• Self starter with good time management skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, attention to details and problem solving skills.
