Motovac is looking for a VW Technical specialist

Motovac is the largest auto parts retailer in Botswana with over 23 outlets across the country. Our mission is to keep drivers on the road, and we currently serve many segments of the auto industry to keep that mission alive. As part of our ongoing effort to train our sales teams. Motovac is looking for a VW Technical specialist.

As part of Motovac’s Training Division, you will be responsible for training sales teams across Motovac’s retail branches on all of Botswana’s VW brands.

We re looking for someone who has a customer first mindset, has a deep technical understanding of VW vehicles, and someone that has an ‘educate first’ mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a training curriculum to effectively educate Motovac teams on VW products
• Train sales teams on the specifics on VW products
• Keep a pulse on competition (pricing changes and new products)
• Coordinate sales and marketing efforts to boost Motovac’s VW brand awareness
• Developing a range for VW parts

7+ years operating in the VW specialization in a technical capacity (VW workshop experience. VW mechanic experience preferred).

5+ years of automotive / mechanical expertise.

Technical understanding of Botswana’s VW Brands, primarily VW Golf 5,6.7 and Polo 4,5,6

Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.

• Deep understanding of Botswana’s VW drivers, ability to translate that understanding into training for Motovac’s sales teams.

A passion and depth of understanding in auto parts.

Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Demonstrated ability to deal with change and be a team player.

Strong leadership and coaching skills.

Willingness and eagerness to travel to accounts across the country.
