DRIVER

Reporting to the Administration Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for picking up and delivering messages, documents, files, packages and other items between offices or departments within BOSETU, or directly to other business concerns, and travelling by BOSETU vehicle as the case may be.

Core responsible

• Driving in order to reach the destination to deliver mail or packages
• Ensure vehicle licenses for all BOSETU vehicles are up to date.
• Routine delivery and clearing of mail and files between offices
• Ensuring safe and secure passage of information, mail or packages to intended destinations.
• Receiving messages or materials to be delivered, and information on recipients such as; names, addresses, telephone numbers and delivery instructions.
• Planning and following the most efficient routines for delivering messages, packages and mail.
• Recording information such items received and delivered, and recipient’s responses
• Perform routine maintenance on designated vehicle such as; monitoring fluid levels, replenishing fuel, and monitoring tire pressure

QUALIFICATIONS

• A minimum of Cambridge school leaving certificate
• A valid light duty driver’s license
• A minimum of 2 years demonstrable relevant experience
