Accounts Assistant – Ultimex Holdings (Pty) Ltd

Ultimex Holdings (Pty) Ltd, a Company in the food manufacturing industry (milling) based in Ramotswa, would like to invite experienced, professional, innovative and result oriented individuals to apply for the position of Accounts Assistant and join a professional team driven by service excellence, where the demands of the business are met by encouraging team work and addressing the needs of the individual.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate knowledge of Sage Pastel to process all Customer, Supplier and Stock Transaction to include GRVs, Invoices, Credit Notes and Stock Counts.
• Ability to process Cashbooks, Bank Reconciliations and Journals necessary to produce Financial Reports.
• Ensuring payments, amounts and records are accurate.
• Liaising with external clients for payments.
• Researching and resolving discrepancies.
• Prudent record-keeping.
• Compiling and preparing routine reports and summaries.
• Interpreting and applying accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• Maintaining confidentiality of all financial data.

• Knowledge and experience using Sage Pastel Partner
• Ability to pay attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

• Ability to work under pressure
• Fast learner

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of AAT and or Diploma in Business and Accounting
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience
• Experience in a manufacturing environment will be an added advantage
