POST: ADMINISTRATION AND ACCOUNTING CLERK

Celebration Church Botswana is seeking to employ a young, vibrant and apt Christian at its Church Office at Block 5 as an Administration and Accounting Clerk. We require someone with strong social, organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changing workload demands. The individual must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

The Applicant must have the proficiencies to carry out the following duties:

1. Electronic and manual banking and management of bank accounts.
2. Electronic and manual petty cash handling.
3. Report generation and recording of minutes of meetings.
4. Completion and filing of annual returns at Societies.
5. Compilation of weekly attendance and financial statistic for the Celebration Churches in Botswana.
6. Ability to do bank reconciliations, trial balances and balance sheets.
7. Ability to conduct and coordinate stock taking.
8. Ability to speed type with accuracy.
9. Proficient in both spoken and written English and Setswana.
10. A driver’s license is an advantage.
11. Conduct clerical duties, including filing, answering phone calls, responding to emails and preparing.

The person we seek must have a minimum of the following qualifications:

• AAT or any equivalent qualification.
• Must have a good working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience using accounting software, preferably pastel, will be an advantage.
