TRAINING MANAGER (FRANCISTOWN)

Retail Group (Pty) Ltd, is a subsidiary of Famous Brands Limited, Africa’s largest branded food service franchisor. Our portfolio consists of 6 Quick Service and Casual Dining brands represented by a network of 34 restaurants across Botswana. Our brands include Debonairs Pizza, Steers, Milky Lane, Wimpy, Mugg & Bean and Europa.

We seek to appoint an experienced, skilled and self-driven Individuals with a proven track record for the below position:

TRAINING MANAGER (FRANCISTOWN)

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Ensuring that Customer Service Training and Accreditation targets of 90% are achieved within agreed timelines.
• Ensuring that TEA (Training, Education and Awareness) Status of 90% Is achieved within agreed timelines.
• Build a comprehensive, intense, business-focused franchisee training curriculum, along with the full implementation thereof. (Encompassing a full range of activities from enrollment to certification).
• Creation and implementation of a suitable and practical training curriculum for new and existing franchisees and staff (encompassing a full range of activities from venue selection, on the job versus in house training, enrollment, certification etc.)
• Provision of high leverage training programs to existing franchisees, which are macro needs analysis based.
• Professional “packaging” of all the in-house training curriculum processes.
• Deliver advanced BOH & FOH training workshops.
• Deliver customer service workshops.
• Deliver advanced Train-the-Trainer workshops.
• Sourcing of external training interventions and licensing thereof for Famous Brands Botswana (Retail Group).
• Maintenance and development of:-

o      Training Curriculum

o      Operations Manuals

o      FM’s Tool Kit

o      Recipe Manuals

o      Training Manuals

o      Induction Manuals

Reports to the National Training Manager

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be In possession of a suitable training / H. R. degree or diploma
• Relevant full accreditation with BQA as a Trainer.
• Previous training experience at senior managerial level within a leading service-based organization (not necessarily food service or franchising)
• Must have good knowledge of external training institutions and packages available
• Highly presentable with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Charismatic, outgoing individual with presence
• Highly self-motivated and disciplined
• Highly computer literate – be able to produce reports and training material
• Ambitious and career orientated
• Strong presentation skills
• Someone who can think outside of the conventional franchise training “bubble”
