HEADTEACHER wanted at Thornhill Primary School

VACANCY –

We are seeking a candidate with the ability to:-

• Provide strategic leadership and management in the day to day running of the school;
• Develop and lead a team of outstanding teachers;
• Build and promote the Thornhill brand;
• Facilitate the on-going development of academic excellence.

The applicants must have proven:

• Experience in a broad range of operational responsibilities
• Computer skills including the use of internal and external educational learning environments, sound practical understanding of G-Suite as an online teaching methodology, knowledge of File Maker pro database development and administration and the use of Microsoft Office in an administrative role.

The successful applicant will meet the following criteria:

• Have a Degree/Diploma in Education, current management experience and thorough understanding of the Cambridge Primary curriculum;
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in an institution of excellence;
• Be willing to be involved in extramural activities, including sports coaching;
• Have effective organisational, communication and administrative skills.
• Support the ethos of the school in line with the mission and vision statements.
