Position Purpose

Financial Analysis:

The role is responsible for developing and analysing short and long range revenue forecasts, developing and maintaining the corporate financial model, developing and maintaining the cost allocation model, developing cost of service and rate design studies, performing rate analysis and comparisons, performing acquisition / divestiture financial analysis and completing other financial and statistical analysis as needed.

The position also provides recommendations on financial strategy and policy.

Taxation:

The role prepares and reviews tax computations for the Corporation. The role ensures that WUC is in compliance with local, and international laws as they relate to Taxation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or AAT
• Relevant Tax Qualification is an added advantage
• Professional Part Qualification (Stage 2 / Part 2) CIMA, ACCA, BICA, CPA, or CFA is an added advantage
• Five (5) years’ experience in transaction taxation
• Experience in performing financial, statistical or economic analysis role, such as Statistician, Financial Modeller, Forecaster, Cost Accountant, Rate Designer, or related work.
• Valid Driver’s license

Salary   :  An attractive Salary Package

Commensurate to the market
