TECHNICAL DIRECTOR wanted at Emeritus International Reinsurance Company

Emeritus International Reinsurance Company, a fast growing regional reinsurance firm with its Head Office in Botswana seeks the services of a TECHNICAL DIRECTOR.

The incumbent will be responsible for the entire operations and business processes. The duties will include strategy formulation and implementation, reinsurance programming, reinsurance technical aspects of the business, developing, implementing, and enforcing business specific Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism and Proliferation risk (AML/CFT&P) compliance programs. Applicant should have a minimum of 15 years reinsurance management experience, having a good understanding of the Botswana regulatory environment and sound knowledge of AML/CFT&P framework with a minimum of 4 years experience in AML/CFT matters. The individual must be of good standing with the NBFIRA. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Insurance and Risk Management; Postgraduate qualification in Risk Management; A Master’s degree (Business Administration or Strategic Management). AML/CFT&P training by a recognized institution will be an added advantage.
