Mechanical Site Supervisor

Requirements:

The applicant will be required to oversee and assist in the entire mechanical installation of the new Palapye Water Treatment Plant which will include but not be limited to the following:

• Installation of piping and valves.
• Installation, levelling of filter floors (false floors).
• Installation & alignment of pumps & blowers.
• Installation of compressors.
• Pre-commissioning of all the relevant mechanical equipment.

The successful candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Trade qualification (N6 or equivalent) in either mechanical or electrical.
• At least 15 years construction experience with working on various parts of water treatment plants.
• Experience in installing filter floors, nozzles and media on at least 5 separate projects.
• Experience in installing pump stations on at least 5 separate projects.
• 10 years construction management experience.
• First aid level 2.
