ALAFISA MICRO-LENDING SCHEME ACCOUNTANT

To process and maintain timely and accurate accounting records and reconcile accounts for production of financial statements and reports.

Key Performance Areas

• Accurate and timely production of monthly management information
• Maintenance of Loan Register
• Effective Budget Preparation
• Loan Analysis
• Quickbooks capturing of receipts and payments
• Tax computations (VAT, PAYE etc)
• Managing external Audit

Position Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or part qualified (CIMA stage 3 or ACCA stage 2) professional accountant or equivalent qualification

Experience: At least 3 years of post qualification experience in a computerized accounting environment
