POSITION: ADMINISTRATION OFFICER

PURPOSE

The Sports Administrator has responsibility for the co-ordination of Extra-curricular sport under the direction and leadership of the Union Exco.

ORGANISATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

The Sports Administrator reports to the Vice President Admin.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE ANO PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS.

• Ability to manage the work of the rugby union n a proactive and efficient manner
• Sports qualifications
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a team as well as self-motivated
• Excellent ICT skills including MS Office and database management
• Rd shed and professional presentation

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement the sporting activities n fulfilment of requirements by WR, PA, BNSC, RNOC and other associated stakeholders.
• Implement policies and procedures fa union activities.
• Manage risks associated with sporting activities.
• Manage and maintain professional standards for development officers
• Liaise with, and keep in regular contact with, all coaches and personnel involved in rugby sport.
• Stewardship of sporting facilities (Land) and equipment
• Identify tracing needs for BRU staff.
• Actively participate in Committees and meetings of sporting associations where possible.
• Effectively liaise with Development Manager- and Schools committee at all levels where necessary.
• Other duties as required by Union Executive

QUALIFICATIONS:

Diploma/Degree in the above field or related, i.e. Sport Management. Sports Administration e.t.c
