GRAPHICS DESIGNER – ADVERT

Job Brief:

We are looking for an individual who will create visual concepts, using computer software or by hand, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers. They will develop the overall layout and production design for applications such as advertisements.

Responsibilities

• Meets with clients or the General Manager to determine the scope of a project
• Uses digital illustration, photo editing software, and layout software to create designs
• Creates visual elements such as logos, original images, and illustrations to help deliver a message
• Designs layouts, including selection of colours, images, and typefaces
• Presents design concepts to the General Manager
• Incorporates changes recommended by the General Manager into final designs
• Reviews designs for errors before printing or publishing them

Requirements

• 2 – 3 years relevant work experience
• Knowledge or familiarity of Digital Illustration and Photo Editing Software

Qualification

• Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Graphics Design or related field.
