REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN

Choppies Distribution Centre (Pty) Ltd in Botswana is seeking an eligible and qualified applicant for the following position

REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Competent in handling the multiplex systems, simplex units, ZX, ZXD, VRF, VFD and packaged units for air conditioning as well
• Good in handling the controls systems (dixell, danfoss…)
• Installation and commissioning of refrigeration units and air conditioners
• Should have experience in the field of industrial refrigeration ( water chiller and central plant)
• Perform mechanical overhauls
• Schedule work with customers and initiate orders from stock
• Keep records of repairs and replacements made and cause of malfunctions

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Diploma/ NCC in refrigeration & air conditioning mechanics
• Should have a Class B drivers licence

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• 5 years’ experience working in refrigeration and air conditioning.
