Job Description

Hendriick Engineering (PTY) LTD is looking for suitably qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the post of SUPPLIES OFFICER tenable at its offices in Gaborone, commerce park.

reporting directly to the FINANCE MANAGER, the procurement officer will be responsible for the overall provision of effective and efficient procurement of logistics, storage, and supply of goods and services within the organization

Key Responsibilities

• Implement policies and procedures for procuring supplies, issuance and inventory control and ensure that procurement, issuance
• Develop and implememnt supplier contracts  and inventory control functions are perfomed in a manner that is in line with revelent policies, guidelines and procedures.
• Draft procurememnt, issuance and invetory control procedures.
• Contribute to divisional budgets by preparing estimates of the supplies required by the company such as costs for services and office requisites to ensure optimal availability of stock.
• To provide advice and guidance for stock and assets disposal for redundant and absolete assets and stock.
• To develop and implement supplier contracts management plan.
• Develop and maintain business relations with suppliers, as well as maintain and update suppliers database.
• Identify, mitigate and escalate procument risks.
• Ensure strict adherence to procurement plan by staff.

Job Requirements the

candidates must have atleast degree in Business Administration/Supply Chain/Procurement Management/or equivalent qualifications

Professional membership of bodies such CIPS  will be at an added advantage. NO Experience REQUIRED AS THERE WILL BE ON JOB TRAINING.
