Overview of the Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Social media coordinator for the Marketing division within a large supplier to the Telecommunications sector within Botswana. The incumbent will be required to manage all aspects the social media platforms as well as the company website inclusive of online sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Align with the marketing team to manage the posts as well as customer interaction on all of the company social media platforms and the website
• Maintain the Company Website specifically regarding client communication via the website.
• Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products
• Research Marketing trends and post content on all social media platforms.
• Encourage on going audience engagement
• Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions
• Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Social media coordinator
• Expertise in multiple social media platforms
• Knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
• Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
• Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
• Ability to gasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
• Excellent communication skills
• Multitasking and analytical skills
