Payroll Officer wanted at Kromberg & Schubert Botswana

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related subjects
• 3 years payroll experience
• Should have prior training and experience in VIP Premier
• Excellent computer skills: with advanced MS Excel
• Good interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
• Deadline driven
• Knowledge of Botswana Labour Laws governing the administration of Payroll
• Knowledge of Botswana Income Tax Act governing the administration of Payroll

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Effective and accurate administration of ALL Payroll
• Monthly reporting & Reporting of Statistics to HRM and Central HR
• Administration, reconciliation & payment of all payroll deductions for BURS, Severance Benefit Management and Medical Aids
• Administration of staff resignations/terminations, relating to Severance, withdrawals, Medical Aid, Tax etc.
• Keep updated with any changes regarding payroll parameters and tax legislation
• Assisting with administration and monthly records of third party payroll matters
• Audit departments to see if the timesheets respond with the actual time registers
• Provide statistics on an ad-hoc basis, and submit a monthly report to the Human Resources Manager
• Handle day to day payroll queries from employees/management
• Ensure and control that the payroll is done on time
• Administer and explain benefits to employee and maintain employee payment schedule
