OPERATIONS MANAGER wanted at Nashua Botswana

Nashua Botswana invites applications from suitably qualified and well experienced individuals to fill in the post of “OPERATIONS MANAGER” tenable in Gaborone to handle operations for all branches

Purpose of the Job

• Coordinate, manage and monitor the daily workings of all branches countrywide
• Review financial statements and data. Utilize financial data to improve profitability. Prepare and control the operational budget.
• Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals. Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output.
• Plan the use of human resources. Organise recruitment and placement of required staff. Delegate tasks and accountability.
• Coordinate and monitor the work of various departments involved in warehousing, pricing and distribution of goods. Ensure the quality of products and manage the quality and quantity of employee productivity. Provide technical support where necessary. Increasing of ongoing revenue and sales targets achieved.
• Monitor, manage and improve the efficiency of support services in all branches, such as IT, HR, Accounts and Finance. Facilitate coordination and communication between support functions.
• Manage customer support. Plan and support sales and marketing activities.
• Liaison with top management. Assist in the development of strategic plans for operational activity. Implement and manage operational plans
• Ensure total commitment to all sales and business continuity strategies from Nashua Limited
• Evaluate and approve applications for Special Pricing and Market Penetration Plans

Requirements to apply

• Prior experience with Nashua franchise range of products major requirement
• Vast experience in management of office automation and business solutions
• Minimum of 10 years specific industry experience
• Prepared to travel and be away from home for long periods of time
• Knowledge of new trends in the industry
• Academic Qualifications are an added advantage but emphasis to be placed on practical experience and a proven track record in operations management of office automation and business solutions services
