VACANCY: ACCOUNTS OFFICER

Applications are invited from suitably qualified citizens for the position of Accounts Officer at St Joseph’s Mission Clinic Kgale Farms.

Salary Scale: C4 (P93, 667 – Pl06, 596)

Leave: 25 working days per annum

Qualifications & experience

• Diploma in Accounting and Business Studies (DABS), AAT or related field
• Knowledge of QuickBooks Accounting Software
• Knowledge of Pastel Payroll Software
• Should know standard Accounting procedures
• At least minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting field
• No criminal record

Main duties

• Banking and Bank reconciliations
• Preparing Annual Financial Audits
• Preparing and monitoring of Financial Yearly budget
• Preparing Annual Financial Statements including maintaining Trial Balance and General Ledgers
• Preparation and submission of Quarterly Expenditure and Quarterly Requests to Donor
• Entering all income and expenditure in Cash Book-QuickBooks
• Preparing payments for all purchases made for the facility
• Managing of Petty Cash
• Supervise Staff
• Monthly Payroll (Including preparing payslips)
• Files and maintain records accurately
• Oversee short and long term plans and initiatives and help in budgeting activities
• Undertakes any other assignment as directed by Management to meet the exigency of duty.
