Production roles at SKY Girls BW

Background

SKY Girls BW is an edutainment empowerment campaign for adolescent girls in Botswana, managed by The Dialogue Group, a full-service communications agency. SKY Girls channels include SKY Magazine, SKY Live radio show and @skygirlsbw on social media. 6 seasons of a radio drama ‘Matswaka Bae’ and 1 season of a magazine YouTube show ‘The Mix’ have also been produced. Based on target audience feedback, SKY Girls BW is planning to produce 2 seasons of a TV sitcom in 2021.

Scope of Project

We seek a production company and/or individuals for various production roles over the 5-week production period. This may be a full-service production company or individual freelancers with, or without equipment

Scripts for 2 seasons of 13 episodes each will be provided by The Dialogue Group. A storyboard and technical production guidance will also be provided. A post-production (editing) company has been contracted.

Working alongside our talented in-house team, we’re looking for:

• Production Manager (experience of TV required)
• Director(s) (drama series experience preferred)
• 1st Assistant Director / 2nd Assistant Director / Production Assistant
• Casting Director

Camera Department

• Lighting-Camera Operator / Director of Photography (multi-cam experience preferred)
• Camera Operators (with or without equipment)
• Camera Assistant / Focus Puller
• Script / Continuity Supervisor

Sound Department

• Sound Recordist (TV experience required)
• Boom Operator

Art Department

• Production/Set Designer (TV drama experience preferred)
• Set Builder
• Painter/Decorator
• Props Buyer
• Costume Director/Wardrobe

We’re currently in pre-production. Filming will begin in May 202L
