Maintenance Supervisor

Main purpose of the job: To ensure efficient and effective maintenance response to achieve all departmental targets.

• • Supervision of the workshop personnel.
  • Electrical and mechanical repairs of the plant.
  • Compiling weekly planned jobs for artisans and ensuring that they are carried out.
  • Ensuring machines are operating to required quality standards with minimal wastage.
  • Execute any other morally reasonable assigned duties to meet the exigencies of service as directed by management.

   The prospective candidate must possess the following attributes

   

  • Must be dynamic, flexible, and have sound technical skills.
  • Sound communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • NCC Mill Wright course/4-year Apprenticeship or any other related credentials.
  • Must be computer literate
  • Valid Class B Driver’s license.
  • At least a minimum of 30 years of age.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a large manufacturing environment with specific experience in a Feed Mill or Mining environment.
  • Knowledge of maintenance management software (PRAGMA) will be an added advantage
