EMULSION TANKER OPERATOR – AECI Botswana (Pty) Ltd

AECI Botswana (Pty) Ltd, an explosives and specialty chemicals company focused on providing products and services to a broad spectrum of customers in mining, manufacturing and agricultural sectors, has the following vacancies at Khoemacau Copper Mine and Orapa, Letlhakane, Damtshaa (OLD) Mines:

EMULSION TANKER OPERATOR X 1 (OLD MINES – BASED POSITION) – 2 YEARS 9 MONTHS CONTRACT

Core Responsibilities

• Delivery of emulsion to Orapa and Damtshaa mines
• Ensure loaded consignment is secure and comply with all safety requirements
• Inspect the vehicle and record issues
• Perform pre-trip, on-route and post trip inspection of the vehicle
• Report all defects to Maintenance department
• Keep the vehicle clean and good condition
• Comply with rules and regulations
• Perform preventative maintenance

Qualifications, Experience and Skills Requirements

• BGCSE qualification
• Valid Extra Heavy Duty license (EC)
• Valid PRDP license (Dangerous goods)
• Dangerous Good Transpiration Certificate
• At least 5 years’ experience, 2 of which are in a Mining environment
• Must be a Motswana
• Must be able to speak and write both Setswana and English Personal attributes
• Responsible
